March 4, 2026\u00a0\u2013<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span>“\u00d6oo” is an exploration-based puzzle-platformer set in a cute yet mysterious world, where players must discover creative ways to utilize various explosive abilities.
\nDeveloped by creators Namatakahashi, Hachinosu, and Tsuyomie, the game was released in August 2025. Its unique “knowledge-based” gameplay has earned “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews from a vast number of players.The game has also received immense critical acclaim on the global stage, including being named a finalist for Game Design at the D.I.C.E. Awards and for Excellence in Design at the IGF Awards. Furthermore, it has won prestigious accolades such as the Gold Winner in the IGN JAPAN PC Puzzle category at the NYX Game Awards and BEST PUZZLE DESIGN at the Thinky Awards 2025.<\/p>\n

To bring this experience to an even wider audience, AMATA Games has taken charge of the porting and publishing for console platforms. The Nintendo Switch\u2122 version launches today, followed by the PlayStation\u21225 version on March 11. The Xbox Series X|S version is scheduled for release later this March.<\/p>\n

Story<\/span>
\n<\/strong>A castaway stuck on a deserted island scrounges for the last bits of food he can find. On the edge of death, he wakes up one night and realizes that a fully stocked, fully functional fast food restaurant has appeared on his tiny island paradise. Shocked and confused at the sight, he wanders into the nightmare that is Manny’s, a restaurant with employees who act as if nothing is out of the ordinary, one bloodthirsty patron, and a mysterious manager who calls out from the bowels of the restaurant itself. Will this castaway get his last meal, or will he become the meal?<\/p>\n
