To give individuals the opportunity to further enhance their skills and experience alongside AMATA, we have redesigned the way we hire career employees, further giving it the name “Journeyman Recruitment.”
A long time ago, the word “journeyman” was used to refer to a “skilled craftsman.” Here, it refers to “those who wish to further reach the next stage as game creators and business people, through making use of their professional skills.”  At AMATA, we place little emphasis on the number of years of experience you hold. Instead,  with the future of “Team AMATA,” in mind, we are always on the lookout for a diverse and wide range of talents to join our team.  Instead of merely utilizing skills and know-how gained in the past, we eagerly await those who are able to look beyond the status-quo and into the future, and are willing to face new challenges alongside AMATA.

Issuance of the Journeyman Passport (JP)

The issuance of a Journeyman Passport (JP) ensures those who are re-applying for a position with us the guarantee of  an interview with the director, and without the need for screening documents.  Even if you experienced a setback once, don’t give up, and try again!
* The JP will be issued to those who meet certain conditions.
* The JP is valid for within three years after an unsuccessful application.
* The JP will not be issued automatically, but will be issued instead to those who request it.
* The JP will not be issued to those who applied through a staffing agency.

Casual Q&A Conversations with Employees

Even for those who are not thinking about changing jobs right away, we would like for you to learn more about AMATA by speaking with our employees.  With that in mind, we provide opportunities for potential candidates to have frank discussions with current employees,  to learn more about both the job and the company prior to an official interview. Experience and get a feel for the real AMATA by letting us know of any thoughts or requests that you may have, such as “I’d like to talk to the on-site leader,” “I’d like to hear from the younger employees,” and things like “I’d like to meet people from the director level.”
