December 18th, 2023, Tokyo – AMATA K.K. today announced that “Last Labyrinth” and “The Tale of Onogoro” published by AMATA Games have been optimized and updated to take advantage of the performance of Meta Quest 3. Also, “Last Labyrinth” is on Holiday Sale at the Meta Quest Store with 33% off until January 3, 2024, at 12:59 AM PST!

We have recently implemented an update for the Meta Quest 3 version of the VR games Last Labyrinth and The Tale of Onogoro developed by Amata. This update optimizes the hardware performance, allowing both titles to express their worldviews more vividly. About Last Labyrinth
An escape-the-room adventure game that can only be experienced in VR, Last Labyrinth was created specifically for the VR age. Players must work to escape a mansion full of hidden dangers with a mysterious girl that appears before them.

It was released on November 13th, 2019, launching on multiple platforms worldwide. Its experiences have been received very well, as demonstrated by the numerous nominations, and awards it has won at game and VR award ceremonies in various countries.

And now, Last Labyrinth makes a comeback.
On March 22nd, 2023, we launched a PlayStation®5/PlayStation®VR2 compatible version that includes Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost-, a monitor mode that can be played without a VR headset, and Monitor Mode was implemented on PlayStation®4/Steam version with the major update Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost-.
Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost- launched on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on May 15, 2023, and on Nintendo Switch on May 24, 2023.
Then, on June 21, “Last Labyrinth” including “Last Labyrinth -Lucidity Lost-” launched on the Epic Games Store, and on the GOG Store on August 23.

About The Tale of Onogoro 

The Tale of Onogoro was created by producer/director Hiromichi Takahashi and the development team behind the VR Escape-the-Room game Last Labyrinth. Last Labyrinth received numerous accolades at game and VR events worldwide due to its unique VR experience.

The Tale of Onogoro combines traditional Japanese culture and steampunk elements to create its unique world. The Player travels with Haru, a Japanese high priestess, solving sprawling puzzles and battling giant beast-like beings called “Kami” along the way.

This game was first released worldwide on Meta Quest Store on March 17, 2022. It was released on Steam on September 28, PICO Store on October 20, Meta Rift Store on December 9, and PlayStation Store (PS VR) on December 26. Then, on February 22, 2023, the game was made available on PlayStation® VR2.
