the World According to Girl is an adventure game that combines a deck-build roguelike game and a caring game that turns a nobody girl into the savior of the world. Japanese indie game developer yondray launched the game on Steam in February 2022 and attracted attention for the unique worldview of the game, with its story of a girl destined to save mankind and its strategic deck construction.

AMATA K.K. was in charge of multilingual localization and porting and distribution to PlayStation™5/PlayStation™4 and Nintendo Switch™ and Xbox One / Xbox Series X|S.

Backpack Twins is a hard but fair single-player puzzle platformer. Swap between the twins as you control them to make the two work together to solve puzzles.

Released on Steam by indie game creator Ima Bryn in August 2019, this game is tough but fair, and generated buzz for its excellent controls, retro vibes, and humorous gameplay.

To enable a wider audience to play Backpack Twins, Amata is responsible for porting and multi-language support.

NOSTALGIC TRAIN is a mystical and melancholic first-person adventure/walking simulator set in the Japanese countryside, where you solve not only the mystery of the missing people of Natsugiri, but also that of “yourself”.

The game attracted a great deal of attention on Steam® through the Japanese indie game creator Tatamibeya in June 2018 for the quality of its beautifully recreated CGs of the nostalgic Japanese countryside. It was recommended by the 22nd Japan Media Arts Screening Committee of the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
To make NOSTALGIC TRAIN available to as many people as possible, AMATA has ported the game to the Nintendo Switch and made it available in multiple languages, and on August 26, 2021 it became available for download in the United States, Europe, Australia, Hong Kong, Korea, and more.

The PlayStation®4/PlayStation®5 version was released worldwide on November 25, 2021, and the Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S version was released worldwide on February 2, 2022.

Inspired by renown tidying expert and bestselling author Marie Kondo, who has sold over 13 million copies of her books worldwide, Spark Joy! is a storybook puzzle game that takes players through the joyful journey of tidying using the KonMari Method™ in the form of solving different puzzles.

The story follows a young girl troubled by a personal struggle and after meeting Marie Kondo, she is able to face her problems, listen to her inner voice and eventually find what is truly important to her. The story is told through visually-stunning graphics, like reading a picture book, appropriate for all ages.

Sparked by joy, the girl embarks on a journey around the world and meets people facing unique worries of their own. With the help of Marie Kondo and cute Mononoke (spirited beings), the girl helps others overcome their own challenges by sharing her happiness with them and helping them find joy within through tidying.

The game features two alternating types of puzzle games, Yin and Yang. “Yin” puzzles help clear the mind through Zen-like garden puzzles. In “Yang” puzzles, players move colorful cubes to a specified shape while clearing away unnecessary blocks.

– Beautiful soundtrack
The game’s soundtrack is composed of beautiful tracks with upbeat, uplifting music for “Yang” and soothing notes for “Yin”. We recommend playing with headphones.

– Additional story
A side story is told through a young boy’s perspective. Sold separately.

“Densha de Go!! Hashiro Yamanote Sen” adapts the arcade “Densha de GO!!” (2017) for the console with new content and a focus on the Yamanote Line. “Densha de GO!!” was born from a dream collaboration between Taito and Square Enix, and like the arcade version, Square Enix’s Visual Works Division utilized Unreal Engine 4 in this version to create a great sense of realism to the train driving experience with realistic townscapes, various times of day (morning, daytime, evening), and a range of weather conditions from rain to snow.

Our company was in charge of porting this title onto the Nintendo Switch™.

The Yamanote Line has gained more attention with the addition of a new station, Takanawa Gateway, and now players can become a train driver and make their way right around the line, including a faithfully reproduced version of the new station! In addition to the Yamanote Line, the player can also drive the Keihin Tohoku Line, Saikyo Line, Ueno-Tokyo Line, and the Narita Express train lines and complete over 200 missions. Many missions that were especially popular on the arcade version were carried over to this Nintendo Switch™ version.
On the Nintendo Switch™ version, players can use the Joy-Con to control the train, and have the option to utilize the touch panel for some of the controls as well.

We developed and operated the original game app “Z/X Code OverBoost” for smartphones, based on the world of “Z/X -Zillions of enemy X-”, a trading card game which has sold a total of over 28 million packs.

Players can enjoy a comical original story, set within “Kuzuryu Gakuen,” where Z/X from another world have descended and gathered.

The battles involve Z/X, depicted as cute, miniature characters. Build a team of 5 characters, utilizing each of their unique attributes as you go into battle!
